Yorkshire Water Reservoir Championships
This saturday (17th May), SVSC host the reservoir championships. The event is attended by local clubs (Pennine SC, Rotherham SC, Sheffield Viking SC, South Yorkshire SC and Ulley SC), each of which enters a team of six boats.
The team with the lowest aggregate score of any three boats win the Morehall Salver, a silver plate. A second trophy is awarded to the individual winner.
Sponsorship from Yorkshire Water funds prizes and catering for the sailors, making the day a memorable event. If you’d like to spectate, sailing will start at around 11:30am.
